Carlos Santana – a fixture at the Montreux Jazz Festival and a good friend of founder Claude Nobs – signed an original photo exclusively for the Lightpower Collection at this year’s festival.
At one of the next Neal Preston events, this unique piece will be auctioned off for the benefit of the “Behind the Scenes” foundation.

The Lightpower Collection’s collection of Neal Preston’s music photographs was originally created with the intention of touring and being shown in exclusive venues. After the success and overwhelmingly positive response of previous events, especially at this year’s Musikmesse in Frankfurt, we had hoped to achieve a similar reaction at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
For us, the scaled-down selection – which focused on the many artists who have already performed in Montreux and been photographed by Neal Preston – was a perfect fit for the style and atmosphere of the festival.
The wonderful experiences we had there and the positive feedback we received convinced us – this will certainly not be the last visit to the Lightpower Collection in Montreux.
